Don't know if anyone who has been a Prime member for awhile knows this, but I'm curious as to how often Amazon adds new movies/tv shows to its free streaming videos.I'm loving my Fire and one of the best things is streaming the tv/movies.I watched the entire first season of Frasier last night :) There's enough content on there now to keep me busy for quite a while, but there are some old tv shows/ movies I'd like to see.

I don't have the answer, but I love the instant video streaming. I just went through the entire first 7 seasons of Grays Anatomy. Unfortunately, the latest season is not free with the prime membership so I will have to wait for next year to get it. Hope it does become available then.

I just got a Fire and Prime. I'm keeping the Prime. I love the content. The Fire? Eh. Sorry, Amazon, but that is too slow. My Kindle Keyboard is better for my purposes.

It is a relatively new program so it would be difficult to say when new movies are added.

Amazon probably has a staff working on getting releases to shows and movies to be able to add them to Prime.

I clicked Prime and then Movies & TV. Then scrolled down and found streamed copies.

Thanks, Fud ! So glad that you can stay on top of things. I guess that might change someday if you get a life.

I just signed up for Amazon Prime and I am super disappointed not to see Arrow and Supernatural available to stream through Prime. Since these are my two favorite shows I am super disappointed, although it doesn't seem to be very easy to get in contact with Amazon and suggest that they add these two shows.

One, you should have checked the availability BEFORE you signed up for Prime if that was so important to you.

Two, there are "Help" links at the top and bottom of every single Amazon page. Could not be easier to find.

You might be further ahead to contact the owners of those movies. Amazon is just a reseller and can't resell or make available through Prime until the owners offer it to them. It's the same way with books. The author/publisher has to offer the book to Amazon before Amazon can list it for you to purchase.

Supernatural is a WB production I believe.

You could have seen they weren't available PRIOR to joining so you should only be disappointed that YOU did not check.

Since you "just signed up" you can contact Customer Service and see if you can get a refund.
