I just got the kindle fire for Christmas. I am in love. The one flaw that I'm hoping to fix is that I can't print coupons from with my cloud printer & the EastPrint app. I would need to install the coupon printing software from and cant figure out if its possible. I even went as far as turning of the "allow external downloading" option in my system settings. Do you know if its possible? Thanks for your help!

Jamie, purchase, download, and install PrinterShare Premium ($13), to your Fire (do this directly from their website). Make sure you have EasyShare (free) installed on your Fire. Find your downloaded coupons on Easyshare. Print your coupons right to your printer (must be Wifi'd).

John, a very cool looking app, but did you read the Permissions that you grant it??? Yowza! :)
Request authtokens from the AccountManager.
Access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Read the user's contacts data.
Access the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Read the user's calendar data.
Read SMS messages.
Manage the list of accounts in the AccountManager.
Access information about networks.

John, just out of curiosity, would you care to install PermissionDog App (free) and tell me what score you get out of 5 for that printer app.

"Read the user's contact data" ?!? Oh, hell to the no.

My question is if you have a computer why are you making this so difficult?

Just for clarification, I have this app on my smartphone. The reason for the permissions level is that Printershare allows you to print contacts, call logs, emails, messages and calendar pages from the main menu, in addition to pics, documents and web pages. If you don't need/want that level of printing, then obviously, this is not the app for you. It is always really smart to be aware of what and why permissions are requested, I do like permissiondog.

ETA to add; if you have a wireless printer, the manufacturers often offer an Android app to allow printing to their equipment, you might want to check that out at your printer manufacturer or the Android Market. May be fewer permissions required.

Awesome help from everyone. Going to have my hubby give it a try when he gets off of work.

@Sailorman: I had a major surgery and its hard to get up to use the restroom, let alone sit at the computer for 35 min to print coupons up, write my list then send my husband to the store. In a few more weeks I should be good to go with the whole computer thing. ;-)

It would have to be an app that works with Android for it to be install-able.

This is incorrect. I can print from my Fire with the EasyPrint app to my printers through Google cloud print. Also it is free to use.

OK, I can see that printing the Contacts etc, but there also a couple of other Permissions that are spooky to me. Why have access to the Accounts Service? Don't get me started on "Manage the list of accounts in the Account Manager."

The problems I have with "Read the Contacts data," et al, is there is no guarantee that data is not being sent home. Call me paranoid if you will, but I have been programming for 35+ years and I see too much spooky stuff that later turns out I was correct to have been cautious about.

Accept those permission at one's peril. :)

that defeats the purpose of needing to print from the Fire. We can already do print coupons from the pc. This would be in addition to printing from the pc.

The reason someone would want to print from the kindle is because there is a limit of 2 per IP address. When a deal is hot, you want to be able to print more.
