OK folks!!
I was mistaken about the attributes of downloadable movies on the HDX. I ran multiple searches on my PC and my HDX for free downloadable movies and was very disappointed with the results.
This morning I looked at my watch list and clicked on various movies and found many to be downloadable. What a nice addition to the tablet.
Amazon I am sorry I thought it was all hype.

William, it sounds like you might have started another thread where you said something different? You can edit what you said there, if you like.

Many Prime videos are downloadable, as you note. You won't find that currently by searching on your PC. I think in order to avoid confusion by listing it in a place where you can't do it (you can't download those movies under this program to your PC), they don't list them there.

Looking at the most popular movies, here are some which can be downloaded:

* The Switch
* Goonies
* The Exorcist
* Beetlejuice
* The Outsiders
* Ocean's Eleven
* Dumb & Dumber
* The Painted Veil
* The Hunger Games

I ran into a couple which couldn't be downloaded (Flight, for example).

It's worth noting that which ones are downloadable and not may change.

Hi Bufo Thanks for the input. Yeah, after I clicked on movies in my watch lost on my HDX I was given the option to download on many of them and set up quite a few because of an extended trip to Mexico coming up soon. After I downloaded most of them I started getting a download error message and was unable to complete my list. Is there a limit to the number of movies you can download?
Thanks in advance for your help.

You're only limited by the amount of available storage.

William, yes. The limit is 25 at a time across all the devices in your account, I believe. I'm not able to locate that number again right now, though.

The other issue might be the amount of memory you have on that device...25 would be a lot of memory.
