How do I print a book I purchase from the kindle store. I find it easier reading a book in hardcopy than in soft when it has many pages

That seems a weird question, to me. "How do I print out a hard copy of an ebook?"

Why not just buy the hard copy? It would probably be cheaper than the cost of printing out a whole book, even if you could work out how to do it.

You cannot print the Ebooks, why would the publishers allow this?

If you can read the paper copy easier then buy the paper copy why buy the Kindle version to start with?

You don't. If you wanted a print version then you should have bought a print version.

Actually, I'd like to print recipes from a few e-cookbooks.

Just Peachy says:
You can highlight the recipe. Then go to http://kindle.amazon.com and login using your Amazon account info. Click on "Your Highlights" near the top of the screen. Then copy the recipe and paste into a Word document (or something similar) and print.

I have kindle for the pc also, what I do is open it in kindle for the pc, use the snipping tool to get the recipe, put it in word and print. I don't want to cook with my kindle in the kitchen, it would floating in soup or something LOL

That's when the heavy duty ziploc bag or
New Version TrendyDigital WaterGuard Waterproof Case for Kindle 1, 2,3 (First, Second and Third Generation Kindle), and Kindle Fire Android Tablet, Blue Border
comes in handy.
Knowing how I cook the Kindle would go to sleep before I got finished, so I also prefer to print.

Of course one day I hope to have a screen that I can just stick on the cabinet or wherever that will show me the recipe on a waterproof screen.

When I'm at my kitchen counter, my back is to the fridge. I want something I can slap on whatever surface is handy -- the backsplash, the upper cabinet, etc. I'm so picky! lol

Google "honeywell kitchen computer" from 1969 :)

For only $10,000 and you had to attend a 2 week class to learn to work it.
Couldn't you just hire a cook for $10,000 back then?

Because some books, usually smaller e-books, are ONLY available as Kindle/e-books.

well CBP, an ebook is available on-the-spot, while tracking down a hard copy takes time and gas. Think about it...

If you need a book now, like today, like this instant, and prefer to read it on paper... Need more explaining?

~nospin says:
Well you won't have it instantly as it takes time to print several hundred pages.

Aside from it being against terms of the license agreement.

We purchased a 10 inch tablet to "read" recipes from. My husband is making a holder that will mount the tablet on the face of one of the kitchen cabinets. That way, my tablet can show the recipe (Kindle, internet or ....) while I cook (the tablet is set to never turn off) and it's not taking up counter space (which I have very little of. Works for us and is a lot easier than constantly moving a piece of paper around the kitchen. :)
