I couldn't find the answer to this question. As it use Android 3.2 I thought it would but in the other hand it uses android with a twist or trek for it's AmazonSilk browser, hence not sure. Hence also this question as I want to be sure that it can view flash video with no buts or any hitch, before I pre-order!

Bufo Calvin says:
CHARN-SING, it's listed on the Fire's product page:

Kindle Fire

It says:

"Amazon Silk is a revolutionary, cloud-accelerated browser that uses a "split browser" architecture to leverage the computing speed and power of the Amazon Web Services cloud. Supports Adobe® Flash® Player"

Does anyone know why I can't click on an imbedded video in an article (ie: Huffington Post) and have it play? Nothing happens.

Actually, the Fire operates using the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system. :)

i know this is an old thread, but thought i'd post here anyway. i tried to dump some standard flash vids and mpg files on the kindle to play them, but they don't even show up when i check my video library (just a "You have no downloaded movies" message). Does this mean I can't import my own videos with the fire and can only play stuff i've d'led directly from amazon?

did you get an answer to this? I thought it does not support adobe flash player, which is what you need to play bridge base. I really want to play my bridge base and can't get it to work.

How do you get flash on kindle fire? I cant view my science text book on it which is one of the reasons I gaot it. I also can't play quite a few games that I want but don't want to download on the family computer that need flash.
