I have been blogging about 24 months, and I am in transition from my old site to Google Blogger, and while I am still diffident about vanity publishing in the digital age, I'd like to know what Amazon requires to offer a blog as a kindle subscription? I was an established freelancer from 99 to 04 but I am not an established brand in the media in any sense of the word.

Let me make a distinction. I am not foggy about uploading a finished manuscript, but I am in a grey area about what to do to offer my blog as a subscription, and would like more information.

Dragi Raos says:
Joanne, Amazon has a separate "subsite" for KDP program:

The site has forums ("community"), among other content, where you are more likely to get the answer. We are just ordinary Kindle users here (including us "Pros").

Joanne, one of "Pros" here has a blog published on Kindle, "ILMK". Actually, you can probably contact the author and ask for advice directly on the blog site:

You might want to do a google search for how to add your blog to Amazon. It is fairly simple to do, there are just a few hoops that you have to jump through and it is best to publish often, at least every other day.

Thank you Chew&Digest. It was not easy and I am operating under a distinct disadvantage, since my most recent accepted sales pitch to a traditional editor fell through in late spring, and AdSense is moribund, at the moment, but I managed to get it loaded, it is in Amazon's queue, and I may write about the kindle a little more, from the perspective of a disabled writer who might have been more successful had the technology been around in the 80's. I do not know if Amazon buys promotional articles, and technical writers have written thousands of evalutions enthusiasms and expostulations of the company's devices by now, but I have a unique angle. I'd marry this damn retailer if I could, how is that:)?
