Where are my Amazon-Purchased Movies - Kindle HD 8.9?

In addition to buying movies, I purchased/got for free a bunch of games. I was able to find and download all game apps but not the movies. I cannot even see any movies. They are there - my Amazon account shows them in my cloud (when I look from my PC). I can stream them for free from the Kindles, but don't see a way to download them. I purchased another movie today from one of the Kindles (other movies were purchased on PC using Firefox as browser) this time, and it appears to have downloaded and I was able to run it without internet. But I cannot get it downloaded onto the other Kindle. Nor can I find a folder that it is saved to on the Kindle that I purchased it from. It just happens to pop up when I am on my home page. When I click on "videos" it tries to give me the option of seeing a library but that screen flashes for less than a second and I am back to my home screen. This happens on both Kindles. Do I have a setting wrong? I am stumped. Have done all of this mucking around with the parental thing turned off so it cannot be a security thing. I am hoping someone can help. Thanks.

When I open Videos with wireless turned off, it goes right to library. I can see my downloaded movies in both Device and Cloud.

Do you supposed I can just hook them up to my computer via USB? I don't have the movies downloaded onto my PC.

I expect you will get a popup asking you if you want to stream or download, when you select download you will get another box informing you you're offline and asking you to choose 'cancel' or 'wireless settings.' I THINK that if you select wireless settings, it will let you connect and then start the download, or at least back up to the cloud library page.

If all else fails, reboot the device--With the Fire fully charged and unplugged, hold the power button in for 20 seconds (ignore the screen prompt;) release for ten seconds then turn on and wait for the reload. It heals lots of random problems.

Still, I would do a reboot before wrapping them up. The "Library" link on the Videos home page should have worked. The last update is "Current Version 8.4.6" which you can see under More>Device>About.

Either way, I appreciate your time, help and suggestions. I have had Kindles and iPads for years, but am new to Fires. I'm actually having a somewhat similar issue. I'm just trying to figure out where downloaded files go to in the Kindle Fire HD's directory of files. Can anyone help? Customer Service was unfortunately not able to provide an answer...twice. I've downloaded the file, the Movies folder appears empty, and the video appears on the Device tab of my Videos tab, but I can't find the actual file. Thanks for your help!

Edit: video file was purchased from Amazon.

Thanks for your help. The video does play, but can't be located. I'm not interested in copying it. I downloaded the same file to my original Fire, and it showed right up in Videos>.AmazonInstantVideo. Maybe the HD's hide it in some way. Anyway, I appreciate your replies.
