I purchased a book on-line yesterday for my Kindle Fire and I can't get it to download. I tried borrowing one today, from my Kindle Fire, with the same luck, no download.

Anyone else having the same issue?

What is the book?
Have you made sure your wifi is on? Did you "sync" from your Kindle?

Where did you borrow a book from?

Amazon seems to be having multiple problems at the moment. This could be part of it.

WiFi is on. Kindle is fully charged. Tried Sync multiple times. Borrowed book is from Amazon Lending library. Purchased book is Amazon, but from on-line. Figured I'd try one of each, in case there was a small chance that the location of the purchased could be the issue.

I've had the Kindle Fire for a few years now and haven't had this problem.

Can you see the books in your cloud while on your Kindle?

You could try to check the MYK page but it is being wonky today.

Just checked the Manage page. The purchased and borrowed books are not even showing up there now. The purchased book was there yesterday evening, but wouldn't download then. Maybe the problems were just starting at that point.

Thanks all for the answers.

I'm having the same problem with my Fire--cannot download (frequently)--WiFi on and connected-- however, the books do show up in my "Manage my Kindle". When I try to download from there, it still doesn't download to my Fire.

I have Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD. This only happens on the Kindle Fire.

Problem still exists: I have a Kindle Fire HD as well as a Fire and frequently download the same books on both-- Fire HD gets them, but Fire sometimes doesn't until a day or so later! Syncing, re-downloading, etc. doesn't seem to help! Very frustrating!

Is the problem being worked on?
