I'm having trouble enabling cookies so I can install Facebook on my new Kindle Fire. Any help?

Hello Mr. Cooley,

I gave my Fire to my sister-in-law for Christmas, so I'm going by memory, but try this:

Tap the "garage door" icon at the bottom of your screen.
Tap "Settings."
You should see the option to enable cookies amongst the options there. If not, write back and I'll try to stretch my mind a little more!

Tap on a webpage, any webpage...like Mr Cooley said you will tap on the little garage door looking thing. This will open with the options he stated.

I'm having the same problem. When I tap the "garage door" icon, I don't get that option.

Hi Jane,

On your model, do this:

- Go to the Home page
- Brush down from the top of the screen to show the options
- Tap the + sign ("More...")
- Tap "Applications"
- Scroll down and tap "Silk browser"
- Scroll down and tap the "Accept cookies" box

I downloaded the wesh 2news app and was able to watch the live broadcast. The following day I received a message saying my device would not support the stream. Is there any reason this happened?

If you were such a smart arse you'd know that there is no user guide with a Kindle, or at least not with a Kindle Fire HD

Hi Spinning Mouse,

Yes, that guy is rude, but the Users Guide really is on all Kindles and Fires. I don't have my Fire with me, but I think it's under Apps. Look for the big blue question mark.

You can also click "Help" on top of this screen, then click on the picture of the Kindles/Fires. The Users Guide is there too, along with tips, tutorials, videos, and other information.
