It will, however, still be on your carousel, a visual representation of your archives and recent history.

Carbonbased says:
Home/Books/Device and rest your finger on the book you want to remove. A pop=up will offer to "Add to Favorites" or "Remove from Device"
Tap the latter and it's gone.

Kathie - as long as your got them from Amazon they are already there - it is your archive and they will always be there unless you go to MYK and delete them.

Dawn - when I go to the "Docs" tab, there's. A choice of Cloud or Device. If I select Cloud, the books I've purchased aren't there. Where else should I go to find them in the Cloud.

Also, how can my husband and I share books from the cloud. He has the original Kindle. Maybe he can't. Use the Cloud?

Sorry for these dumb questions!

Unless Dawn is tracking the thread (and she might be), she did post that comment well over a year ago, and might not see your reply.

"Docs" means Documents, not Books. Are you looking for your books? If you want your books, tap the Books tab, not Docs.

Miss Carol says:
Depending on what you mean by original Kindle (the first one was released in 2007), the older ones call the cloud the archives. It's the same thing and if you're on the same account, all the same books are there for him to download on his device.
