My email address uses an underscore to separate my first name from my last name. I cannot find a way to type the underscore so I cannot register.

Mary.T says:
If it's a fire, Click on the keyboard, and look just above the letter p, or you can click the 123 key, then the .+= key and you'll find it there

Winterblue73 says:
For Fire- on your keyboard click the numbers key, click the button that has the little black dot + = sign (where the shift up arrow is for letters), and it should be there.

I don't have a Fire or a Touch but on my iPhone I touch the key to get me to the numbers (.?123). Then I touch the key that has #+= on it.

Then you need to reread FoundQuilting's answer, since that's how the PW is, too.

by reading the posts in this thread. tap the button on teh keyboard that has ?123 and locate on the numerical/symbols keyboard.

Edit: what is so difficult about reading BEFORE you make a post? Seriously, the answer was already there.

Can you actually underscore a letter, or do you just get an underscore by itself?

By itself.

I don't think you *can* underscore a letter on it. You can type a _ , but not an underlined letter.

That's what I thought, so the actual answer to Takasha's question above is: "you can't"

In reply to an earlier post on Feb 5, 2015 6:47:20 AM PST
**Meya** says:
No, that isn't correct. My email address that I use for Aamazon also uses an underscore, like the OP.

The OP didn't say they used an underlined letter. They said they use an underscore. This, "_" is an underscore.

You can't use an underlined letter in a password. But that isn't what the OP asked.

But it's what Takasha asked; that's whom I was addressing.

I was responding to Amateur.

Geez...I looked at the OP's question. I shouldn't post with a headache. ;)

and I was specifically referring to Takasha's question, too.
