Yes, and it would be nice to have N. Podaci back too. And Novelistic seems to have been quiet for a few days too. And SDR Marla, and probably lots of others that I am missing too.
Ok, really off to sleep now.

The Misadventures of the Laundry Hag: Skeletons in the Closet - Mystery/Comedy

Maggie Phillips hasn't had it easy. As the wife of retired Navy SEAL, and the adoptive mother of two little hellions, Maggie is constantly looking for ways to improve her family's financial situation. She accepts a cleaning position for her new neighbors (who redefine the term `eccentric'), never imagining she will end up as the sole alibi for a man with a fascination for medieval torture devices when he is brought up on murder charges.

While Maggie struggles to prove the man's innocence, her deadbeat brother arrives, determined to sell Maggie and Neil on his next great scheme and to mooch with a vengeance. If that isn't bad enough, her in-laws, (the cut-throat corporate attorneys) descend on the house, armed with disapproval and condemnation, for the family's annual Thanksgiving celebration.

As the police investigation intensifies, Maggie searches for the killer among the upper echelon of Hudson, Massachusetts in the only way she can- by scrubbing their thrones.

Of the porcelain variety, that is...

A Girl, A Guy and A Ghost: Humorous Romantic Suspense

Curvy redhead Giselle Hunter, parapsychology reporter, has a crisis. Finding a ghost within three days is the only way to save her job. Not easy, especially with no psychic talent. A trip to Savannah Georgia-voted the most haunted city in America-seems ideal. But while Giselle encounters a discrimination-obsessed vampire, a nudist wizard, a not-so-psychic medium and a host of other kooks, there's not a ghost in sight. Then there's scrumptiously sexy, private investigator Ry Leland. With his buff body and bitable lips, Ry ignites her passion. He's an enormous distraction. Distracting her in a bed, in a closet, on the kitchen table, in a car. . . But despite the explosion of their mutual lust at first sight, Ry is unwilling to help with what he calls a cockamamie investigation. Unwilling, that is, until an attempt on her life makes it clear someone wants to stop Giselle from finding a ghost. . .and turn her into one.

A BOND LIKE NO OTHER

Amy Adler, a small town cop in the state of Maine, begins her patrol one brutally hot summer day and is immediately immersed into pursuit of a relentless bank robber through the unforgiving New England wilderness. Constable Adler soon confirms the identity of the fleeing felon, a career outlaw named, Gina Hawk. Someone Amy Adler knows from her youth...someone Amy shares a very dark secret with. Amidst the challenging circumstances, the pair privately reacquaint through their cell phones, discussing their contrasting lives while assigning blame for that terrible night all those years ago. On two separate occasions, criminal and cop come face to face and as the exhausting pursuit reaches its unexpected conclusion Constable Adler and Gina Hawk woefully find themselves ensnared in unwanted disbelief...once again.

Murder in the Dark (Book One Santangelo PG-Rated Mystery/Thriller Series)

Twelve people arrive at a remote inn to spend the weekend. After dark, the doors and windows are locked, the lights go out, and someone starts murdering the guests. Is the murderer one of the twelve or someone else? Each guest must decide whether he or she should form a bond with any of the other guests, none of whom appear to be a murderer. Those guests, chosen specifically by the murderer, include a doctor, a judge, a private detective, a kindergarten teacher, a firefighter, a mystery author, a librarian, a taxidermist, a real estate agent, an insurance agent, a funeral director, and a computer programmer. Is the murderer one of them, the butler, or the owner, who is blind and confined to a wheelchair? Or did someone else find a way to sneak into the inn?

Diving in quick with thoughts from yesterday's thread before the busy day, so forgive my abruptness...

Jessica, if you haven't shared a tale with Midnight Louie, you are missing out - now you will have to get the first few at the library in DTB - Catnap is first

Charlie-bird - feeling for you - it doesn't help that you are looking in the last quarter of the year, when budgets are getting thin, and businesses don't want to expand unless all of the stars align and ideal candidate (10 years of experience, requesting a no experience salary) comes walking in the door....hang in there, things will open up

oops - had a fire alarm triggered by lightning - now back to finish -
Susan, Donna, my team got an email demanding the current finish dates of a list of top priority projects yesterday, along with an obligatory chewing, as it appears we are on the verge of holding up the entire company from making profit targets for this year...so understand where you all are - hang in there - this too shall pass....

@ Suze -- sorry, but if you gave me a can of pumpkin, it would go to the local food pantry. (For a girl born on Thanksgiving Day, I have always hated pumpkin.)
