It says that the book is free to borrow with Prime membership, but I can't find an option to download it to my device for free. Please help.

Are you in the US? The Kindle Owners Lending Library (KOLL) on is for US residents only.

Do you have a paid (not a free guest/student/mommy) Prime subscription? Only paid Prime accounts have access to the KOLL.

Are you using a Kindle? KOLL books can only be borrowed by and read on Kindles, not apps.

Are you using a Fire? If you are, you can't borrow using the web tab. You have to use the books tab, then tap the store link in the upper right corner.

Miss Carol says:
You have to download it from your device itself - you can choose the books on the computer (many put them in a wish list called KOLL or something like that. But then when it comes to borrowing it, get on your device, find the book and borrow from there (making sure the Kindle is registered to the same account as your Prime).

Do you have a prime membership that you pay for? Is your prime account the same account as your Kindle is registered to? Are you trying to borrow while on your device (it must be a Kindle NOT an app) and in the store on your device (not the browser)? Exactly what steps are you taking so we can suggest where the issue is?

Here online at Amazon, create a new wish list called "Prime Borrow" (or whatever). Add books (presumably the free-to-borrow ones) that you'd like to borrow.

THEN, go to your Kindle, turn on wi-fi, pull up that wish list, go to the book, and there should be the borrow button there.

That is, assuming you do have Prime, that THAT Kindle is registered to the Amazon account WITH the Prime, and that you haven't already borrowed a book in July.

Yes, I do have a paid Prime membership and I am in US. I don't know what steps I am supposed to follow - I included the link to the book. It says the book is eligible, I have a number of kindle devices added to my account, but I don't see the link or anything to add it, only the purchase option.

I gave you the steps. Are you borrowing through the BOOK section of the KINDLE itself? Not a computer. Not a browser on a Fire. The BOOKS function. ON the Kindle.

Hey, that's pretty slick. I don't think I've looked at the photo tutorial before. Nice.
