It is classified by Amazon as a technothriller, but Implant involves cortical implants in human brains. My co-writer is a brilliant neurologist and the author of two other medical thrillers as well as several scientific papers and so the medical science is real and the medical science and details correct. It is currently on 99 cents and the #8 ranked technothriller on Amazon.

That was...uhm, fast. Unless you already had it, and then why are you looking for another? ;)

But thank you, and is this what you mean by medical thriller, or are you looking for something more like Tess Gerritson?

CJ Lyons, an MD, writes medical thrillers. Here's a couple of her books:

Nerves of Steel (Hart and Drake #1)

Try Michael Palmer, Michael Crichton, Robin Cook and there have been several free books in the last few months that were medical thrillers and are probably still cheap. I just finished Code Blue and Medical Error by Richard Mabry both of which were good. Happy Reading!

I recently read The Last Surgeon and thought it was good. Michael Palmer has quite a few medical thrillers, so if that one doesn't appeal to you, one of his others might.

No Good Deed: Book One (The Mark Taylor Series) Now only 99 cents.
March Into Hell: Book Two (The Mark Taylor Series)

I liked The Cobra Event and if you're interested in something non-fiction, try The Hot Zone: A Terrifying True Story by the same author. It reads like and is definitely as interesting as a fiction novel. Contagion and Fatal were both pretty good. And I'd also recommend Knife Music: A Novel, though it's more of a murder mystery in a medical setting than a straight medical thriller.
