I really doubt anyone here will be able to help troubleshoot a network connection issue from over 3 months ago.

Is your Kindle still registered to your account? Have you rebooted your router? And your Kindle?

D. B. Roe says:
what is airplane mode and where can I find the on-off switch?

It's not a switch but a setting. What kind of Kindle do you have?

For an eInk Kindle with a keyboard, press Menu. The first item on the menu is the wireless on/off option.

You're welcome. Did you find it? If it's already off, that's not your problem.

Sorry - didn't mean to confuse you.

Have you tried unplugging your router? Unplug it, and plug it back in. This will reboot it, which may solve the problem.

Which Kindle do you have, by the way?

Granny Jo, you really need to contact Kindle Customer service so they can troubleshoot with you over the phone. They can help you step by step in real time, not just guess and then wait for your response on this forum.

To contact customer service, go to http://www.amazon.com/kindlesupport, then click on the yellow Contact Us button. Answer the questions, then choose the Phone option.
