I just received my KFHD yesterday, and I've been trying to install flash player to play those facebook games. After several unsuccessful attempts, I found out about installing Es file browser, dolphin browser and old flash player. However, is anybody able to play facebook games after installing those apps?

I think a lot of those games require Java as well which Android does not support at this time.

I've tried to login a few apps on facebook on my kindle fire hd but they always say misconfigured for facebook. Does anyone have any answers why?

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 21, 2012 12:38:03 PM PST
Because the Fire is not configured for games on Facebook.

I have Kindle Fire paid 199.0 for it but cannot play bejeweled on facebook. Can anyone help me to do this? I really bought this Kindle to play this game can anyone help me with this?

In reply to an earlier post on Feb 2, 2013 7:49:52 PM PST
I've also tried with no luck, I wish I'd never bought this thing. They just want you too buy all of their apps only. And I mean all of Amazon's. I've seen the very same apps In Facebook and Amazon. The only difference is Amazon charges you for very same app that's free on Facebook. I guess that's how they continue make money off us.

Tracie, it's unwise to put your email address into a public forum. It's inviting spam. You can edit your post to remove it.

When you reply to a post you'll see a link to the Guideline. One of which says "We recommend that you do not post your phone number or e-mail address."

Amazon never promised the ability to play Facebook games anyway, so the disappointment is misplaced. People should be disappointed in themselves for not researching a product before purchasing. You can play quite a few games, if there is an app for them. And you dont need to buy from Amazon. There are many places to "sideload" from, like Freewarelovers, Aptoide, etc. Or if you don't mind voiding your warranty, you can root your Kindle and buy apps from anywhere. Bingo Blitz, Candy Crush Saga etc. are two games I can think of that you can play on FB, then play on Kindle. The latter can be sideloaded off of Aptoide or you can get it off of Google Play if rooted.

well maybe if kindle android operating system was not hacked to hell and back to be but a shadow of the full software it might be worth buying amazon need to stop being a cry baby and let people run all apps and use other app stores kindle is as lame as an apple ipad is

King Al says:
No, Amazon does NOT need to do this. Most Fire users are satisfied the way it is.

I was disappointed as well thinking I could do many of the same things you could do on an I pad. Very disappointing. I guess I sould have spent a couple hundred dollars more for the I pad. Surely there is some techie out there who can handle this.

The makers of the apps that you want are responsible for creating them (and marketing them) for the different operating systems of the different devices. If you want Zynga game on the Fire, contact Zynga and tell them.

What do u mean by "rooting"?

In reply to an earlier post on Apr 22, 2013 1:42:56 PM PDT
If you don't know what "rooting" means, then it's not for you. You have to have some technical knowledge and be familiar with the Android operating system. It's not something I would ever recommend to the normal Kindle Fire user.
