K. Hazard says:
I've had my kindle fire for a couple months and sometimes the screen will go black randomly. Not sure why? It's not frozen or anything, I just have to press the top button to wake it up. I thought maybe it was because of the way I moved it or because of the case I have on it. No idea. Help?

K. Hazard - How long is your lockscreen timeout?

Swipe from the top > More > Sounds & Display > Screen Timeout.

I am having the same issue. I think it has to do with the sleep mode sensor. Like when you close your kindle with its case and it automatically goes to sleep. Could this be why? Like I moved my hand in from of the sensor or something. How do we shut that setting off?
