The only time I can recall someone talking about a site that offered something like a Kindle toolbar, it sounded like a scam, or perhaps malware.

Im not exactly sure because I didnt have time to read through it completely at the time. I figured Id come back to it after work. It just said you get alerts, you can download the books from it and all sorts of handy things.

yes I read about it right on was at the bottom of where I was looking for I cant find it.

Joni, there was a scam that was advertising on Amazon. They were charging $50 to provide links to books you could have gotten anyway without them.

If you want alerts, I would suggest ereaderiq - we know it is legitimate.

I know of a free kindle toolbar download that I like pretty well that just recently became available. It's a free download on the site I haven't had any trouble with it yet, and it's free.
