T. Cook says:
Try changing your wifi to be unsecure, if the kindle can connect, the problem may be the typing in of the password.

Doesn't connect to an unsecure wifi network?
Also, regarding passwords, some people said you can't have too short of a wifi password, usually they should be a length of 10 characters/numbers.

Sarida says:
Have you ever been able to connect? Or is this the first time you have tried?

When I got my Kindle Keyboard, after charging, i had to shut off the device completely (not just put to sleep) and after restarting it connected.

It's probably time to contact Kindle Customer Service.

It finds "several" networks. Is one of them yours?

You beat me to it. I was going to ask if E was sure s/he was choosing their own signal.

Also, I know I've read something about the WPAP 1 or 2 or something.

E. sand says:
Yes i am sure it is my signal, i even reset the network twice last night.

Tried both 1 and 2

J. Bowles says:
turn the power to the router off then back on. If that does not work recycle the power to both the modem and the router, turn the modem back on and wait until all the lights are on, then power up the router again. This usually works for me but is a constant PITA.

Hard re-boot of both devices many times.

I am having the same exact issue. Does anyone know if this has been addressed successfully?

T. Cook says:
There is nothing to be addressed, usually typing in the correct password works.
From working at a help desk, 99% of the time Wifi connection problems are password related, some people just can't type them in properly (proven by changing to a simple password).
The other 1% is a hardware issue either with the device or the router, which takes troubleshooting efforts with both devices and another working wifi device to see which is the cause.
If you're having the same exact issue, then you tried the troubleshooting tips in this thread before asking, right?
