My Kindle Fire no longer works for me to read books, however my new computer has a Kindle app on it so I'd like to have my books sent to it instead of Kindle Fire. How do I make sure they go to the computer when I download?

Register the computer app to your account. Then when you buy a new book or if you are re-downloading a book you already have make sure that you choose the computer app from the dropdown list of Kindles to download to.

Thanks! Yeah, I had already found that going into the Kindle app on the computer and all my books are there! The only thing is I lose the convenience of being able to take my books outside to read cause the computer isn't a laptop, it's a desktop. And my phone screen is just too small for me to try and read books from. So I guess until I'm ready to invest in another reader, I'll stick to the computer.

Computer/laptop/tablet screens don't work too well outside in the sun in any event because they are backlit.
