Kindle Fire HDX + SD Card

I'm considering getting a kindle fire hdx for a long trip to Europe, but I would like to be able to transfer photos from my camera's memory card to the tablet. Is that possible with some kind of adapter/reader?

Hilliary - You can use a wireless card reader to move photos from a flash drive or SD card to the Fire without a computer like this one:

Kingston Digital MobileLite Wireless Flash Reader for Smartphones and Tablets (MLW221)

You also need to install the companion app on your Fire:

There is also the Eye-Fi wireless SD card.
