Is there an easy way to remove books from Kindle. I'm giving mine to my granddaughter and I want to remove the ones I bought. I don't want to delete them from my iPad though.

Books belong to your amazon.com account, not to an individual device. Deleting books off of one device has no impact on the books on a different device/app.

Set the Kindle to factor settings. On your Amazon account "Manage Your Content and Devices" you can deregister the Kindle from your own account.

She can start her own Amazon account.

Is this an e-ink kindle or a Fire Tablet? If you register a Fire, the books disappear. An e-ink kindle, you need to reset to factory to remove your books.
