I have a problem with my facebook News Feed on Kindle Fire. After I scroll through a few, they start repeating and repeating. What's going on? I see this reported as a problem in Google search (I am not alone....yet I am alone!)but cannot find a solution. I cannot find a similar discussion here. Please advise any fix or help.

On the Facebook Kindle Fire page, someone suggested shutting it down completely and restarting. That did help me yesterday (as in, no Facebook repeats in my news feed last night), but wondering if it is a long-term fix? Give it a try, hope it helps.

Go ahead and shut down your Kindle Fire, then start it up again a few minutes later. I haven't had the "repeat" problem since I did that on 8/22/12.

It's also seems to repeat most when my wifi connection is "spotty"...

Mine does it too. Connection is not spotty. What's the point in restart if it does it in a day or less? It's so annoying, like a never ending loop!

My Facebook news feed is messed up, too. It shows the first 10-15 posts just fine, then the next 10-15 are text only with a gray background. It doesn't show any posts beyond that. I've cleared cache. I've logged out of FB and logged back in. I've powered my Kindle Fire completely down, then powered it back up after a few minutes. Nothing seems to help. VERY frustrating!!! Hope there's a fix SOON!

I am having this problem also. Just started today. I can see more by logging in via web, instead of Icon on carrousel, but it won't let me comment.

Same problem started for me this morning! Contacted Facebook about it...but could it be a problem with the Silk OS?

It's definitely a Kindle problem. My account on the computer is just fine.

Same here, my Facebook will on show the first 10 posts or so, then just goes blue. This is so friggin annoying!!! I bought the Kindle Fire HD in part to use Facebook, Netflix, and access the web. And since I shop A LOT on Amazon it seemed like a perfect fit, but with the popping noises in my speakers and now this, I'm starting to question my purchase. My friend told me to get the Nexus 7, and now I'm thinking that she might have been right. Uggh!!!

Lori Shultz says:
The first 2 Fire HD's I got made the popping noises too. I'm on my 3rd one and it does the same thing. They just kept sending me new ones for no reason. I'm hoping the new updates will take care of it. My facebook has been just fine until Friday when it started doing the same thing your's is. It is very annoying. Maybe the updates will take care of this as well. Let's hope. Amazon is probably aware of the problem.

I just got off of a chat with Amazon tech. They were able to replicate the problem, so they now know what were experiencing. They will work on it and get back to me in 24-48 hours.

Having the same problem on my wife's new Kindle Fire HD. Tried these same "fixes" - nothing worked so far. I have an older Kindle Fire (not HD) and I have not seen this issue on ti.

Ok, so I just talked to tech support. They have had this problem reported. Apparently Facebook did an update on Oct. 18th. They said that is probably what is messing everyone's account up on the tablets. They are going to work on it and get back with me on Thursday.

I'm having this same problem too that started for me Saturday morning. I have been using the web browser version of Facebook, but I prefer the app if the problem gets fixed.

i have the same problem that started on oct 18. i have shutdown. uninstalled app. cleared cache. it is an obvious facebook app issue. i dont have issue on android phone or laptop and desktop. it was so nice for a few days. Facebook needs to do a better job testing before pushing updates. Amazon has amazing customer service. If only MS, Apple and Facebook cared as much about customer service. lol... Lab 126 is awesome!!!!!

I have the same problem with repeats. But my main issue is that my facebook on my kindle is limited...its different from what is on my computer. I have limited ability to do many things...ie...cant share anything etc

Just bookmark facebook on the silk website browser. Works fine and the pictures are sized better (sometimes), too.

I'm having same problem on new hd. I don't have any problems on my regular kindle fire. It still has the share option button which is gone on the hd kindle. Very frustrating
