How do I delete adobe air from kindle fire hd as it is a security threat and Kindle is not responding or working correctly?

Julie - I don't know why you think it's a security threat. You can't delete it. It's a part of the programs that allow your Fire to "run".

If you're getting some popup that's telling you it's a security threat, that means it's coming from some free app you've downloaded.

Thank you for your input. The threat recognized by security app was fine tuned to Google play ad that ran during temple run 2 game so I deleted game and will watch for further problems, much to the dismay of the kid of the house.

Clean master app said my Adobe air is a threat and the only solution is to update it but I can't because the app is on Google play.

DestinyDK, Clean Master was the app that identified adobe air as a threat on my kindle fire but it was actually due to a hitchhiker threat attached to a google play ad during Temple Run 2 game. Clean master also started to run ads for dating and other non related services so I had to delete temple run and clean master to get things back to runnning condition. Hope this relates to your problem. Julie Engelke

I have this issue too but I don't know which of my downloaded games is using Adobe Air. Clean Master tells me that Adobe Air is a threat and to update it. Recently, it updated itself when I turned on wifi (I leave it off most of time so when I turn it one, apps are set to auto update). Since the auto update for Adobe Air takes me to Google Play, it can not be updated (or at least I do not want to update via Google Play) and now, Clean Master is showing dating service ads where it was not showing them before. Those ads are also linked to Google Play. I can't figure out which app self installed Adobe Air to run and why Clean Master is suddenly showing ads which are not appropriate for my grandkids. I life Clean Master so I can turn off background apps. I would just delete it if I could find a comparable (easy to use) task killer app.
