My daughter texted me that she's pretty sure she left her Kindle on the plane. I told her to de-register it and contact amazon to block anyone else registering it, and call the airport to check with lost and found.

It got me to wondering how many electronic devices are left in airplanes. Has anyone here left one and then gotten it back?

I have left a DVD player and my Kindle Paperwhite on two planes. Each time I remember to check for the player and Kindle several hours had past after I had left the airport. I called the lost bag line and reported the item lost. It can take a while. The DVD player had my info on a sticker. After 5 weeks, I figured that I was not going to be getting it back and bought a new one. The next week I got a call to pick up the player. My Kindle got left in a seat pocket on 8/13. I got a call 9/26 saying that I could pick up my Kindle.
