Is there a way I can rent a movie from Amazon, and I watch on my Kindle HD, and my husband watch on my Kindle?

The e-ink Kindles can't run video. Even if he has a Fire, you can't have both devices playing the same video at the same time.

I want to send a movie I bought on amazon and send it to another kindle in the family. Not to watch it at the same time

Bill, if both devices are registered to the same account, you can do that. If they are registered to different accounts, you cannot.
