is ms office available

Office Suite = OfficeSuite Professional 7 and you should have a lite version installed on your Kindle Fires

and there's also WPS Office (formerly Kingsoft Office)

however, MicroSoft Office cannot be installed on Kindle Fires, but much of its functionality is reflected in those two apps

Microsoft products (including Microsoft Office) work on the Windows operating system. The Kindle Fire uses the Android operating system. OfficeSuite is designed for Android systems. Your confusion probably comes from the similarity of names, but they're not the same product (though they do similar things).
