I'm an EXTREME Kindle & Audible customer. Will Kindle Unlimited allow access to ALL Kindle and Audible publications, including new releases?

Probably not. Other subscription services have been around for awhile now and haven't gotten but one big six publisher on board.

what audiobooks are available? is there a list? and can you download them to listen to offline?

Of course Amazon won't do that. If they did, Amazon and Audible would never sell a single e-book or audio book, would they.

Why would you think they would do anything that foolish?

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is Kindle Unlimited?
A: Kindle Unlimited is a new service that allows you to read as much as you want, choosing from over 600,000 titles and thousands of audiobooks. Freely explore new authors, books, and genres from mysteries and romance to sci-fi and more. You can read on any device. It's available for $9.99 a month and you can cancel anytime.

Given that there are probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 2,000,000 books in the Kindle bookstore, and 600,000 as part of KU, that would indicate a no.

Once you download it, you don't need a wi-fi connection.

Ken, Emerald Coast was not responding to you. If you click on the link in the upper right corner of her/his post, you will see who she/he was responding to, which in this case was the original poster.

Emerald Coast was responding to the question would ALL Kindle and Audible books be included. That is what she said would be foolish, not your question about wi-fi.

Ken, my reply was to the OP, and I stand by my response. It would be foolish for Amazon and Audible to give away all of their digital and audio books for $9.99/month. No one would ever purchase a Kindle e-book or Audible book.

You are fine Ken. It can get pretty confusing in here at times. ;o)

I already was audible member. If I do Amazon Unlimited I am unsure why to keep Audible. Thoughts?

Tinker-bella says:
The audiobook selection is limited, whereas the selection available through Audible is significantly more extensive.

With Kindle Unlimited, I am seeing that there are currently 2,159 books with narration available.

Edited to add: Audible has over 150,000 titles available.
