As a nation, take a moment for prayers and silent reflection for those children and adults who lost their lives and for their grieving family and friends.

Such horrible news today. Stunning in its sadness.

News stories don't usually make me cry, but this one did.

I'm giving my kids at work tomorrow extra hugs.

So incredibly tragic in its senselessness. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and loved ones of the victims, survivors and an entire grieving nation.

R. D. Clark says:
My thoughts and prayers are with all the past and future victims of the mass insanity suffered by the American people regarding guns. It's a sickness, the kind that the people who suffer from it can't detect but that everyone around them can see clearly. But in this case the sufferer is the US as a whole, and "everyone around us" is the rest of the civilized world.

I don't care what the Second Amendment says. It's antiquated and wrong, and the death rate from gun violence proves it beyond argument. We, as a nation, are mentally ill, obsessed with defending the implements of mass murder for reasons that make no rational sense in the modern world.

We are all responsible for today's tragedy. When I pray about this it will be for forgiveness that I have not done enough to support stringent gun control in this country.
