How do I manage my kindle? Do I have to delete the books, and what if I want to read them again?

Miss Carol says:
All the books you buy on your account are stored by Amazon on their server. You can see them all on your Manage Your Kindle page (the one that's linked under your account up at the top). You download the ones you want to read onto your device / app. Then you're free to remove them and redownload them as often as you wish.

You don't have to delete your books. You can remove them from the device if you want and they will stay on the cloud for you to download if you want to read them again.

HOw do I do that? move to cloud? I still don't know how to transfer to cloud, the delete drop box says it will delete and I will have to repurchase.

Is the book currently on your device? You just select that book (how depends on which of the Kindles you own) and then click Remove from device. As long as the book was bought from Amazon, it will stay on the servers (which is the cloud). You don't have to do anything special.

Just press down on the book till you get a pop up menu, scroll down and delete. Easy peasy.

Can I have 2 kindles at the same time? I really miss my thin, light kindle that I could read in any kind of light. Now I have a kindle fire which I love for magazines and games and you tube but it's too heavy and too hard to see to actually read books. Can I have one for books and then my fire for other stuff?

I have 2 Kindles. One is for games/apps. The Paperwhite is for my book reading. Love it. Much easier on the eyes for book reading.

Thank you. I will get a new paperwhite today. Thanks for answering.
