Hello, I am currently reading Waiting to Be Heard: A Memoir - can anyone tell me if there is anything different in Honor Bound: My Journey to Hell and Back with Amanda Knox or is it basically the same account? I just don't want to spend the money if it rehashes Amanda's account - Thanks

Did you read the product reviews? There are 116 of them. Surely that would give you and indication.

The hell you say.

21st Century life is amazing.

in the time it took you to look up that there were 116 product reviews, you could've answered, yes, no, didn't read it - or why answer at all? If I'm interested in a book, I don't care what you or anyone thought of it and base my decision - I just asked if there was anyone who read both books who could tell me if the accounts were the same other than one was told by her and the other was told by him -

In reply to an earlier post on May 21, 2013 8:38:55 AM PDT
That makes NO sense. The product reviews are *guaranteed* readers. Here, the odds are INFINITESIMAL that forum members would have read BOTH those books. Seriously. Read the reviews.

Excuse me, but in the time you typed that, someone else could have looked a hundred times to see that there are 116 reviews and still not had enough time to read all of them for you if it doesn't mean enough to you to read them yourself. So, why did I answer at all? Because I can.

In the time it took you to post here, and wait for an answer, you could have made your own decision.

How exactly do you expect other people to respond? We couldn't possibly know how similar is too similar for you.

Mike: sheesh! Why did you answer at all?

I just wanted to interact with people - I didn't know I would get ridiculed and ganged up on - sorry to have wasted anyone's time - have a nice day everyone

Ah, the victim card -- well-played.

Just because... Bye, stilettos.

Don't you dare gang up on me all by yourself. Just don't.

Then perhaps a better way of phrasing it would have been, "Hi. I'm fascinated by this case, and I've read (this) book. I'm thinking of getting (that) book, too. Has anyone read them? What do you think of the case?"

As opposed to randomly asking if one book is similar to another. Also, BOTH books have highlights and comments that you can read and reply to *AND* you can participate in discussions *specifically* about EACH book. How awesome is that?!?

You can interact until the cows come home about Amanda.

The books are completely the same. Except for the midgets.

I totally wasn't expecting that.

Pffft. I saw 'em coming. I think it was the stilettos.

What about the ladybugs? I suspected them, but it ruined the bit about the albino.

In reply to an earlier post on May 21, 2013 9:09:53 AM PDT
Dude, that was all explained in the movie. You know, the one where Lucy and Ricky are actually Taci and Nick?

In reply to an earlier post on May 21, 2013 9:11:35 AM PDT
I guess I took the wrong pill. Next time I'll pick the blue one.

I'm not playing the victim here seriously - I know there is no way to convey that here because words do not convey how a person means them - maybe I didn't phrase my interest correctly and maybe all of you could care less about Amanda, but I was being genuine - I'm not a troll, this is my first time here, and seriously I wasn't just trying to stir up everyone, I just simply didn't ask my question correctly - you are all correct, I should've read all the reader reviews - I tried and now I know I'm not welcome here - again my sincerest apologies for have wasted your time

In reply to an earlier post on May 21, 2013 9:16:53 AM PDT
You are welcome here. Untwist your panties, and stay and play.

In reply to an earlier post on May 21, 2013 9:19:31 AM PDT
Oh, please. It's a public, unmoderated forum. You're welcome to post anything you like, provided it complies with Amazon's rules. The flip side of that is, we're able to reply - again provided we comply with Amazon's rules.

This simply isn't the best place for you to get the answers you're looking for. Seriously - read the reviews. Post comments in the reviews. Visit each book's forum.
