T. Cook says:
"I plan to boycott Amazon, will purchase Hachette titles elsewhere and donate them to my local library. What a disgrace."

Don't forget to cancel your Amazon account, no sensible person would leave an account active when they don't agree with a company's business practices.

Oh goody, *all* the Kindle customers were so anxious to know what you would do.

Well, it was only right that she told her family first, then came here. But the waiting was difficult. We can all breathe a little easier now.

She probably made an announcement that was never open for further discussion.

Tim W. says:
Absolutely, I feel much better leaving the control of books in the hands of a cartel of multinational media conglomerates.

You would think that by now, she would have started to notice the eye-rolls of her siblings. She brings that favorite jello dessert, so they may just ignore the Manifestos.

Boo-Dittie says:
I love eye-rolls! I should have you for dinner sometime soon.

"Books, unlike other items, are not commodities."

"will purchase Hachette titles elsewhere"

I suppose the irony of those two statements will be lost on you.

Our family like butt-rolls. That is when you put two balls of dough in one muffin cup. Eye-rolls are an acquired taste I think. It can take a while to appreciate them.

Anna - so, you *want* to spend more money on books? You don't believe Amazon trying to negotiate a better price for us is a good idea? Companies negotiate all the time, it's part of business.

Boo-Dittie says:
Just don't bring the hair-jello. I hate that stuff.

King Al says:
You have things backwards. Hachette is the one trying to control pricing. In fact, they had to pay millions of dollars in penalties because they illegally colluded with Apple to fix ebook prices.

You should be boycotting Hachette and you should also get your facts straight before you display your ignorance in public.

Ah, the Orange Jello with shredded carrots? My dad loved that.
