Sorry...I just couldn't resist the temptation. I think I am getting goofy.. must be near sleepy time.
Your recipe looks to be just the ticket for superbowl. DH keeps talking about we need to get some snacks... but won't make any suggestions. I mentioned lil smokies in Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce and some veggies with ranch dip, but I'll bet when he gets home in a few and I share your potato skin recipe, that will be on the menu. Thanks~!! :)

Oh.... loved the dog story. I had read one similar, but like yours so much better. :))

Marilyn

ETA In your recipe it mentions saving the middle slice for later????

I LOVE potato skins! I will probably change the cheese as my boys don't care for Blue Cheese. I can just see my family scarfing this recipe down.

I read this story and it spoke to me so here we are. LOL

Wildy stands in front of Draygon, the second most powerful supernatural being on the entire planet. As Wildy faces down Draygon, the Warrior appears out of nowhere and shows Wildy the one thing he never thought he had: his Soul. Great Start LoB.

I brought this over from yesterday's thread

Recently I posted a link for a children's joke book. NOT WHAT I THOUGHT Ultimate Kids Joke Book IT IS FREE BUT DON'T BOTHER.

I thought the above was from an author/illustrator that I really enjoyed.

http://www.amazon.com/Riley-Weber/e/B008Z2PKGE/ref=ntt_athr_dp_pel_1

The author of the book listed above copied the cover of the below author. She did not have her name on the cover or on the inside of the book. She just lifted the cover. As for the inside of the book, there are some interesting children's riddles, but there are no illustrations and the riddles are just listed one after another. So while it might be interesting for an adult to get a couple of kids jokes, I don't believe a child would enjoy the book. I am sorry that I did not check the author more closely. It is just that I recognized the art.

Thank you Wandering Reader! You are up late.... or is it early? Looks like you've found some great books so far. I need to take a peek at the links to see what I can find.

Good morning 4Nbahu, or is it afternoon in India? I can't believe that the author of that children's book lifted the cover from another book. Doesn't anyone have integrity anymore? It seems that some of these ebook authors are devoid of the values they should have learned in Kindergarten.

How are you? Well I hope.... ;-)

<elbows back> Staying home for the first time this week. It seems that both places I volunteer at are having major changes. So two days of culling our library by 1/3 and not nearly finished. 2 days of trying to learn how a server will affect the infrastructure of the NGO. Did I also mention have a family wedding to get ready for in another city. And luckily was able to get the groomer for my fur monsters and so now have a slightly damp leg warmer, a whiner and my eldest is being followed by the 3rd. They look and smell so much better. It got delayed due to extreme cold and the eldest had fever.

TMI? that is why I lurk unless I have something specific to say. Otherwise my brain and fingers hook up for their version of diarrhea of the mouth...digit dysentery.

It is 2:30 pm. on a beautiful sunny day. Not hot not cold just right for a light jacket or sweater. Have to prepare for the wedding. I leave tomorrow night , mehindi is on Sunday (where they use henna on the hands), the sangeet is Sunday night (dance performances usually by family members to celebrate the marriage), Monday (the wedding). Hubby has work and not going. In-laws don't travel anymore. Kids have school. So it is just me in the beautiful Pink City otherwise known as Jaipur. Oh how will I survive all alone?

@4Nbahu
My sister and mother have been to an Indian wedding and I hear they are pretty spectacular. Long, but lavish affairs. Sounds like a great opportunity to get away from all your responsibilities at home and have some fun.

ETA... Sandy's right, take you Kindle along and maybe you'll find some time to get in some reading.

@ 4Nbahu ~ I've been wanting to have that done... Mehindi ~ Currently I'm obsessed with "threading" ~ I think I'm addicted to it... ;D ~ My youngest just had her eyebrows threaded and swore it was the worse pain she ever felt, whereas I LOVE it!!! Granted, it does sting, but in a sort of weirdly enjoyable way...
