It'd be nice in the next firmware upgrade if Amazon would include in the Experimental section
a light chat client with different topics for Kindle owners to chat in via WhisperNet.
Won't that be nice ?

It's unfortunate that this forum doesn't have a search feature because just a few days ago there was a very "lively" disucussion on this idea. You should be able to find it as it was only a few days ago.

Just got my new Kindle fire7" HDX - How do I transfer info from older Kindle Fire and oldER Kindle keyboard, or does that just happen automatically through Sync?

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 5, 2013 12:09:02 PM PST
Syncing will put the titles on the new device under the Cloud tabs. You then have to tap each one to download it.

This forum does in fact have a search feature. Just look to the right of the list of threads. There is a text box that says Search Customer Discussions, with a checkbox that says "search only this discussion".

Good grief! How do people find these 900 year old threads to dredge up?

Just received new Kindle HDX 7, will not sign in to my wifi, so unable to use Kindle help. If Amazon is monitoring this discussion, help, or you will get this thing back pronto!

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 5, 2013 3:50:21 PM PST
Frank, there is a help button at the TOP of this page. Please use it-pronto! :)

I gave that some thought, as well. Can't get connected? When it requests the password, use your WiFi password and not your Amazon password. My one brain cell kicked in and I finally realized that - - - Good luck!

Leavon says:
I hadn't known that at first, so that really helped - thanks to you.
