Guys, I know this has been posted before but I've never seen an all-together post in one place. Here is what I think I know about internet browsing on the Kindles:

2nd Gen kindle international -- 3g browsing allowed
3rd gen kindle w/ 3g-- 3g browsing
New kindle and Kindle touch -- 3g browsing not allowed (except for wikipedia)

If I buy a new kindle keyboard 3g, can I still browse the web from wherever I am?

edit -- I'm assuming that I'm in a place with 3g coverage (shown on the map) and have a 3g signal

Yes you can. The Keyboard model is the old K3 that allows web browsing over 3G.

The touch, the new model you can only access Amazon and Wikipedia over 3G.
