Problem with kindle on loan

So I loaned a book of mine to a friend. I sent it, but the friend got an email saying the loan couldn't go through b/c I wasn't an approved email address. The friend followed the steps on the email to approve me. The email instructs the friend to tell me to resend the book for a loan. I went back into my kindle account to resend the book for a loan, but it says "on loan." My friend sees nowhere she can accept the book for loan.

So what do we do? Thanks for any help that can be provided.

Did you use a regular e-mail address? You can't use the @kindle address.

Don't use the Kindle email address. Use the persons real email address. You may have to call customer service to cancel the loan and start over.

Thanks guys. I got Amazon to restart the loan. I sent it to my friend's regular email address and not their kindle address, but she hasn't gotten an email or anything like that. Something as simple as loaning a book is becoming very frustrating!

She shouldn't have to put the email address on the list unless you're sending documents (PDFs, etc). A plain old vanilla book loan is a piece of cake.

This sounds like learning curve, here. Now you've got it.

Then it probably went to the recipient's spam folder. If the e-mail didn't make it to her at all, there is no alert about an approved e-mail address being on her list.

That's exactly what happened Dittie. I told her to check everything and she found the email and now has the book! Thanks to all who responded!
