I just bought Amazon Prime, on my Kindle when buying a book it says Amazon Prime members buy free. But I am still charged for it Why? The item says it is free to members so there should be no charge. Need answers - no one to talk to. Want help.

Not BUY free, BORROW free on the lending library.

This seems to be misleading, under pricing it states prime members $0.00, not borrow for free . If I borrow it, I can only borrow 1 book a month?

Not really. You need to read what comes with Prime membership. Prime is for shipping. The KOLL is a perk that is offered. You get to borrow one book per month for the year price (as well as get free movies).

When you read before you buy, it's not misleading at all.

You don't really expect to get unlimited free books do you?

You also must borrow the book on your kindle device only. If you try to send from the pc to your kindle you will be charged.

Also only one book a month can be borrowed free, and then only after you've returned the last one. Prime is really great for free shipping. I had it years before they added the other benefits. It's also nice for videos if that interests you. But it won't save you anything on books. That's just a small added benefit.

There's nothing misleading about any of this if you read the full information before you buy. It's not fine print. The details are all there, just not in the headlines.

Here's what I see on the product page for a Prime-eligible book:

"With your Prime membership, you can borrow this book for free on your Kindle device."

This is followed by a link to learn more, which takes you to a link to the help page with instructions:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=lp_mem_help?ie=UTF8&nodeId=200757120

Are you not seeing any of that?
