On my Kindle Keyboard I can organize my book library into collections. Make it easy to manage a large number of books. It there a similar capability with Kindle Fire or must I just live with a long list of individual books?

Thanks

I want to know the same thing. I have about 100 books and had them grouped by genre in my K2. Figuring it out is on my to-do list for tonight, but hopefully someone will figure it out before then.

I've been asking the same question. Can't find anything in the manual. My old Kindle made it so easy to find a particular book.

Doesn't look like it unless you can work out something with an app like Folder Organizer.

It may be worth checking to see if someone will be writing a Kindle Fire Collection management plugin for Calibre. Their Kindle 1/2/3 one is excellent and completely removes the need (or desire) to use the Kindle collections function.

OK, just unpacked the Kindle Fire and took it for a spin. All the books are listed as on the old Kindles with no collection. Most painful to me is that they are listed by cover art of the book. I have been reading on my Kindle so long that I don't even know what the cover of books look like. Just used to looking for title/auther. Actually, with all the artwork on some covers, it is difficult sometimes to read the title or author. I want my lists and I want collections back. Any way to set this up?

I just registered my Kindle Fire and want to know how I get the books that are on my old Kindle onto the new Fire one.
