Does the Kindle Fire HD have a built in camera for taking still photographs and can I download photos to it for viewing?

The Kindle Fire HD has a front facing camera that is mainly intended for video conferencing. There are apps you can buy that will allow you to use it for still pictures but it is not a very high resolution camera and taking a picture with a front facing camera can be awkward. You can definately download pictures for viewing.
