Self-promotions isn't permitted here. You should take your post to the Meet Our Authors forum.

No one here is going to be able to tell you why buyers are returning your book. They will put you on the "never buy from this author" list because of your perceived spam.

You had a link to your book. Even if that was not your intent, people will naturally think that you were self-promoting it.

"...ridiculous...absurd...ludicrous...uncalled for..."

Methinks the spammer doth protest too much.

Way to insult potential readers Marc.

No, but I might be a Little Person.

Way to ostracize.

Little people are good, my apologies.

No problem. I'm not a Little Person, but you didn't know that.

You have to understand that this community has a hair-trigger when it comes to spam, because of the infestation that occurred prior to the guidelines being changed to forbid marketing within the fora.

Meya says:
You posted to this forum twice. When you were told your posts were not permitted, you responded rudely. That is not the way to apologize. Instead of being gracious, you were rude.

There are many avid readers here. And for every one who posts, there are probably 10 lurkers. You may want to remember that, regardless of which forum you are posting on.

The Blade says:
>>>>"Were in my post did you see tell people to buy my book. That is an absurd assumption. Ludicrous, totally uncalled for. Pointing out my mistake would have been sufficient. "<<<<

You're only one of hundreds (thousands?) to have tried that same tactic. Hence the reason that it is no longer allowed and why we are extremely skeptical when we see it once again.

I'd bet that is on the low side, actually. ;-)

You were directed to the proper forum.
Suspicion was already high since you started two threads.

Now that I know how classless you are, I won'tbe buying, borrowing or recommending your books.

And is that the one about torture and captivity, anyway? Not on my list.
