Amazon doesn't create apps You'll have to contact app developers. I don't know how you'd do that, other than to find some names and google for info.

You mean an app that's already developed but not available on the Fire HD yet? Amazon has a feedback email, but I don't know offhand what it is. Maybe someone else will see this and has the link.

I think this is what you're referring to -
kindle-feedback@amazon.com

Stefanie, remember that Amazon just sells apps. They don't make the apps. If you want a specific app, you should contact the publisher of that app. Once it has been programmed, Amazon will be glad to add it to their store.

Another option is to go into settings and enable installs from 3rd parties. Then you can go to places like Google Play and install Android apps.

You can also do a search here. There are many threads referencing ways of installing apps that are not available on the Amazon store.

Just remember, iTunes apps are written for the Apple operating system. You need an app written for Android which is why Google Play will work in many cases.
