Well, lets see. I have solitaire, pogo, word search and enjoy them very much. Also Mahjong, a calculator, notes and many more.

I use Android Booster to extend battery life, Cool Tool for a battery gauge, ES File Explorer to load non-Amazon apps, Slacker Radio (subscribed to for a couple of years and have custom stations all set up), Netflix of course. I tried the Nook app and didn't like it so I just bought a used Nook Simple Touch for my epubs. I wish Amazon would put out an ereader (not tablet) with a micro SD card slot....sure is handy with my Nook. Some games, Angry Birds, Mahjong, Ninja Chicken and some card games. I have Aldiko epub reader but since I bought the Nook, it is not necessary now.

I don't know why people pine for the Google Play Store....I really don't want to plow through 500,000 or a million apps, most of them of no use to me.

Omigosh! So many fun ones. But for utilities, consider:

Battery HD
Gemini App Manager

Thanks. This will be a good start. I haven't found the web to be that easy to get around. Developing a favorites lst and then trying to figure out where it is.
