So I hadn't set up my delivery preferences yet on my new Fire and I bought an MP3. It is on my Kindle device, but I want to get it to my Cloud so that I can put it on my iTunes too. Is there a way to do this?

Hello A. Forbes,

At this time, Kindle Fire does not support uploading content to Cloud Drive.

To add music to Cloud Drive, you can upload files through Cloud Player for Web. Visit http://www.amazon.com/cloudplayer from your computer and click "Upload your music."

Also, you can change your MP3 delivery preference by tapping "Music" from the Home screen and pressing the Menu icon on your Kindle Fire.

Select "Settings," then tap "Delivery preference." You can choose to have your Amazon MP3 purchases downloaded to your device or saved to Cloud Drive. You can also select the "Automatic downloads" option to have any new purchases saved to Cloud Drive, automatically downloaded to your device.

I hope this helps!

So are you telling me that I downloaded/paid for this song through my Kindle and I can't listen to it anywhere else but on my Kindle Fire? That doesn't seem right.

Are you sure it's not already in your Cloud? Any music I've purchased (since May of this year) has automatically been put into the Cloud.

Unless you selected the option not to keep a copy of all purchased songs on the Cloud, it will automatically be there. If you did select that feature, send a message to tech support, they moved a purchase of mine to the Cloud within an hour of my sending the message when I clicked on that option ... what was I thinking :)

I myself banged my head against the wall for a while trying to upload music from my Fire to the Cloud Drive. It's certainly a feature I would like to have (and that I expected to have).

Wow Amazon... You didn't think this might be an important feature to include? Great -_-

As others have said, if purchased through Amazon it should already be in your cloud. If not for whatever reason you can connect the Kindle to a computer via USB, pull copies of the files over, then upload to the cloud from the computer.
