I purchased a new Kindle Paperwhite to replace a Kindle that failed. I had a number of unread books and I don't recall the titles. How do I get them on the new Kindle without having to load all 150 books in my library and then delete the ones already read?

You pretty much have to know the titles. Unless you can check under Manage Your Kindle and see which are the most recent books you have bought for your Kindle, in case that helps.

You can go to http://www.amazon.com/myk and send your books from there, but if you can't remember the titles, there's really no easy way. At least you can look at the product page from your MYK page, if you need more info.

You'd go to Manage Your Kindle, and if you were unsure of a title, you go to that book's Product Page, and use the Look Inside feature to read the first several pages.

Looks like I have to scan all of the books. Thanks

Consider it like a trip to your Library. Sure, as you still down the aisle, you'll see books you remember reading, "Read it, read it..." But some you'll realize you didn't even know they were there, "Oh, that looks interesting."

Enjoy the browsing. :0)

If you had them in an "unread" collection, you can import the collection to your new kindle (the option to do so is in archives) but you still need to have the books downloaded for the kindle to sort them into the collection.

Check reading status at http://kindle.amazon.com

It is not perfect but may help.

In the future I will place unread books in a list to delete as they are read. Thanks for your suggestions.

Richard - I would only delete them from your device, not from your account - unless you are absolutely positive you will never, ever want to read or reference that title again. If you delete a title from your device, it will remain "in the cloud" on your account, and you can download it again later. If you delete it entirely from your account, should you ever want to read it again, you'd need to purchase it a second time.

Seems like http://kindle.amazon.com has half the functionality I need (ability to tag and see read/unread) and http://www.amazon.com/myk has the other half (ability to send to Kindle). I don't know why they don't combine those two views into the same view?

As a workaround, you could open them in different tabs. Find the book you want in one window, then pop to the other window to send it.
