No.

No. Don't care. I'm smart enough to notice, "Oh. The wi-fi icon is on. I should turn it off."

Nope, still not interested.

Still don't care. Sorry.

Just Peachy says:
How will it know when I am finished? After doing a sync, I may want to do some other tasks that require my wifi.

I would rather control when my wifi is on and off. Don't want the Kindle to assume I'm done.

What else would you like, sweetie?

Just Peachy says:
This is extra development cost that will be passed on to customers in some form. Then there is the extra support cost. Not worth it to me.

No one said the Kindle can't be improved. You asked if anyone wanted this and some of us said no. We see it as a problem, not an enhancement.

Peep Dittie says:
I'd venture to guess its more about some of us not caring what you want when you barge into a community of customers with feedback about things over which we have no control. If you have feedback *for* Amazon, you need to send it *to* Amazon.

I told you WHY!

Peep Dittie says:
Dude, no one has to tell you why. No one even has to have a reason, let alone to inform you of it.

Wade, just because ...

I don't like tomatoes. I just don't. I don't have to justify that, nor do I have to justify my preference in my wi-fi settings.

Just.Don't.Want.

Sometimes I turn wi-fi on to download one book, but other times I download, then go browse the kindle store. I prefer to tell the machine when I am done rather than the other way around.

Bixillarla says:
Nope I do not want it. I may want to do other things after it connects. Is it really that hard to manually turn off the Wifi? It takes 3 touches to do so, less than 10 seconds.

In reply to an earlier post on Aug 3, 2013 12:33:36 PM PDT
Wade - No. Many times I leave my wi-fi on on purpose to clear out my Periodicals Collections and to wait for an automatic update. I would find it extremely annoying for my wi-fi to just turn itself off. And it only takes about 5 seconds tops to turn it off.
