Freetime so far has been great. The main gripe I have with it is that it disabled the browser. I don't want my kids freely surfing the web. But it would be nice to give them a browser that only allowed them to visit sites I white list. There are a number of safe, useful sites my kids use on my laptop that would be nice to use on the Kindle: math tutor sites, wikipedia, homework resources, etc.

Since most parents wouldn't make the extra effort, it would be fine if the browser was off by default and needed to be turned on manually.
