Can someone who has actually used an app to create (as opposed to edit) documents on a Kindle Fire HD give me some guidance?
After reading several posts about Office Suite Pro and Quickoffice Pro HD for Tablets (QOP), I mistakenly bought QOP thinking I could create documents with it. I was surprised to find that, for $15, the program is essentially a file browser which allowed me to download and edit documents from my desktop computer - but there was no way to create new docs.
Now I'm looking for a program which will actually allow me to make documents on my KFHD 8.9. I don't mean emails - I mean actual .doc or .docx files. I doubt that I'll have a need to make spreadsheets or power points on the KFHD. Which apps actually work in that way? I see OfficeSuite Pro, and QuickOffice Pro (for phones?). I could blindly purchase one of those, but having almost lost $15 on QOP HD, I'm wary of the product descriptions of these other programs.
