I have followed the instructions to transfer music from Windows Media Player to my Kindle and the music is not showing up. I have synced and it is taking up space and showing in the folder but I can't play it or see it. Windows 7 is not letting me drag and drop. Very frustrated! Please advise. Thanks!

Which Kindle??

If you want Kindle support to guide you step by step, click on help at the top or bottom of any amazon page. Click on the Contact us button on the right of the next page. Answer the questions and the correct contact info is shown. I suggest using the phone for quickest response.

B. Marks says:
Most players show you the metadata, the descriptive information imbedded in MP3 files. They normally don't show filenames. I don't use my Fire for music so I'm assuming it works that way as well, but it's a fairly safe assumption.

You can use Windows Media Player to put in the album, title and artist and track number and that might help.

Are you certain the music is in .mp3 format?

Hi Lisa, I use a MAC but what I read on the Windows instructions in the help section, it appears that they do not mention using the SYNC feature (which I saw on a YouTube video). Can you drag to a SYNC folder and then Sync? Sorry I can be of more help. Good luck.
