B. Stokell says:
How many books can I load on to my kindle touch?

CBRetriever says:
Theoretically: Up to 3,000 books or 4 GB internal (approximately 3 GB available for user content).

And that is predicated on books of around 300 pages w/o illustrations, but people have found that over 500 books, it slows down some and at around the 1000 book range, it really slows down.

and some books are huge: Delphi Complete Works of Mark Twain (Illustrated) at File Size: 42306 KB

and if you're planning on loading audio books, they're even bigger

CBRetriever says:
Home - Menu - Settings - Reading Options - Page Refresh = Off

and if that doesn't fix it reboot with wireless on (50% battery charge, unplugged, hold power on for 30 seconds)

Miss Carol says:
Click the menu button while on the home page. At the top it will say how much memory is still left.
