camera not working

My camera will not open. I believe it just says it's not responding I can either click wait or ok. Neither of those help. I also can not see any of my pictures. My kindle just says that there are no pictures on this device. Yet when I plug it into the computer I can view all of them no problem. Rebooting DOES NOT work. Turning it off for a couple hours did not work either. It is fully charged.
Oh and on top of this my keyboard keeps messing up either it won't turn landscape...I just get the portrait sized keyboard or it doesn't bother to show up at all.
I had to fight with the thing just to get to this page so I could post this.
And it's Super slow. I even went through and deleted all my apps, even from cloud to try and make it faster. And I don't mean to make silk faster I mean it's slow to click on brightness, wireless, the more...button, the favorites button. What am I doing wrong? I take very good care of this this thing I don't download anything I'm not going to use, there's not a single scratch on it, it doesn't over heat like I hear some people saying.

I have a Kindle Fire HD 7"

I'm not electronically incapable. So please don't tell me "have you tried turning it off and back on again?"
I'll repeat myself.
I have done that.
I have also done the reboot.
I have charged it.
Tried plugging it into the computer to see if that would help.

PLEASE if you have any idea of what else I could do to get this freaking thing to work. I would GREATY appreciate it.

Victoria - You need to contact customer support. I do know there is a glitch at the moment that Amazon is aware of and is working on regarding the photos.

Click on this link and fill in the information.
You may have to sign in. I would use the PHONE or CHAT options.
Do NOT use e-Mail.
CALL ME under the PHONE tab is great if available.
They will call you within minutes.

Victoria, I am having the same problems that you are and I did the same things you did to try to make it work with no luck either... I have several personal videos and they all disappeared too..It seems like mine started a couple of days ago after that advertisement for the kindle cloud came up...I'm not saying it was the cause but it seems like my problems started after i saw the ad...I'm like you and take very good care of my Kindle hd and couldn't figure out what happened..Except for you, I haven't seen anyone else complain about it so I thought I was the only one...If it is a glitch, I'm hoping it will be fixed soon...
